Solo Piper
Sometimes one piper is exactly enough. An entrance, a memorial, a wedding ceremony, or any moment where you want the music to feel personal rather than oversized.
Small Ensemble
A few pipers with drums gives you more lift and movement without bringing the footprint of the full band. It works especially well for processions, entrances, and private celebrations.
Full Band
When the moment is big, the full band makes it feel big. Parades, festivals, major ceremonies, and public celebrations are where the full sound and visual presence really comes alive.

Planning a performance
How far in advance should I book?
As early as possible, especially for St. Patrick’s season, weekends and major community dates. The band’s schedule can fill well in advance.
Can I hire just one piper?
Yes. A solo piper can be ideal for weddings, memorials, ceremonies and smaller private events. If you are unsure, tell us about the event and we can recommend a format.
Do you perform at funerals and memorials?
Yes. The band and individual pipers regularly support funerals, memorials, dedications and remembrance ceremonies with music appropriate to the occasion.
Where does Northport Pipe & Drum perform?
Our home is Northport, New York, and we commonly perform across Long Island and the greater New York area. Travel depends on availability and the requirements of the event.
